Shirt “Pchilka”

The embroidered shirt was created on the basis of an ornament from the book by Olena Pchilka, namely the publication "Ukrainian folk ornament" of 1876.

Olena Pchilka (Olha Petrivna Kosach) is a writer, translator, public figure, folklorist and ethnographer.

"Ukrainian folk ornament" is her fundamental work, which includes: 298 samples of embroidery, 31 tables of patterns, 23 patterns for Easter eggs.
