The vyshyvanka has geometric octagonal stars. The stars are scattered along the sleeves and collected in a geometric ornament. This is a representation of the universe's structure, no longer chaotic and disorderly but ordered and harmonious. In the center of the star, there is a rhombus, symbolizing fertility because, in shape, it resembles two triangles - male and female.
