About the product
This special ornament from Grono is dedicated to Plast, the national scout organization of Ukraine. Its design is based on the Plast emblem, which unites the Ukrainian trident and the white three-leaf lily. These symbols embody unity, courage, and spirituality.
The shape and unique combination of the trident and lily were created by Myron Fedusevych, a teacher from Lviv, patron of the Plast camps, and friend of the Plast youth. The artistic design of this symbol was created by the renowned artist Robert Lisovskyi. The “Lileika” embodied the ideological unity of the Plast movement, which exists both in Ukraine and far beyond its borders. A greeting card with an illustration by Edvard Kozak accompanies the ornament. Edvard Kozak is an outstanding Ukrainian artist and scout. At the age of 16, while being a scout in Stryi, he joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Galician Army. Even before reaching adulthood, he became a veteran, setting an example of devotion and courage in the fight for Ukraine.
May the “Lileika” Christmas ornament not only adorn your Christmas tree but also serve as a symbol of loyalty to traditions, the continuity of generations, and the invincibility of spirit that is passed from the young to the old.
