About
Gushka runners aim to bridge the gap between form and function, weaving together the warmth of the wool and the spirit of the mountains into your everyday spaces. To some, they feel like stepping into a field of fluffy white dandelions or pathways running through summer forests. But we encourage you to find your tactile connection between our rugs and the places that bring you peace.

Care

Caring for wool is simple.
The unique structure of sheep’s wool gives it natural durability and strength.

A thin, waxy layer on wool fibers contains fatty acids that inhibit bacterial growth and help repel dirt.

Your wool rugs, blankets, and pillows will keep their beauty and uniqueness for years to come — just follow a few easy care tips.

General Care

Regular vacuuming on a normal setting helps maintain the fibers.
Long-pile wool rugs should occasionally be brushed with a pet brush.
Small stains can be gently wiped off with a damp cloth.

Avoid direct sunlight — UV rays can damage natural fibers and cause dyed wool to fade.
Store in dry, well-ventilated spaces.

Follow these simple rules, and your wool pieces will preserve their lasting beauty.

Five Golden Rules for Wool Care

  • Avoid direct sunlight.
  • Regularly shake out rugs, pillows, and blankets.
  • Vacuum with a standard nozzle — do not use rotating turbo brushes.
  • Blot stains and spills as soon as possible; do not rub the fibers.
  • For dyed items, use professional dry cleaning.

Washing

Children and pets love wool, and that’s okay — small stains and light dirt can easily be removed with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
For deeper cleaning and best results, we recommend professional dry cleaning.

Smaller wool items can be washed by hand or in a washing machine on a gentle cycle with warm water (30°C / 86°F) using a mild liquid detergent designed for wool.

Both machine and hand washing may slightly alter the appearance of the product.
