About
A scarf featuring Kazimir Malevich’s iconic Black Square.
The Black Square became a symbol of a new artistic movement and an icon of Suprematism. One of Malevich’s greatest sources of inspiration was Ukrainian folk art, which surrounded him from childhood. The geometric forms and primary colors found in traditional Ukrainian embroidery and decorative painting played a significant role in shaping his artistic vision.
Positioned on one of its corners, the Black Square creates a dynamic sense of movement while embodying the radical simplicity and spiritual depth that define Malevich’s revolutionary approach to abstract art.
The Malevich Collection was developed with the guidance of Tetiana Filevska—curator, researcher, author, and Creative Director of the Ukrainian Institute.
- Material: 50% Silk, 50% Polyester
